French Quarter West Interior

We were hired by French Quarter West to modify and paint an area for MetLife. They are located on the back side of FQW.

This is a rough drawing of what it looked like before.

This is a rough drawing of what it looked like after.
This is area 2, the entry hallway. Just to the right you can see into what will become the reception area. Somebody must have got an electric stapler for Christmas and this hall was the first place they used it. There was carpet stapled to the walls, and they used plenty of staples. Under the carpet was unfinished drywall. Here we have a coat of mud on the seams and we are starting on all the staple holes.
Here we have all the holes filled.
It turned out pretty good.
This is the reception area, area 3. It had wallpaper on the walls, we were asked to paint the wallpaper.
Here is another angle of the same room.
After patching holes we started cutting it in. The whole area was getting new carpet after we were done so we didn't have to worry about covering it up.
Here it's getting the final coat of paint.
They decided they wanted some trim up around the ceiling.
This is a picture of area 1 when we first got there. Area 6 use to be a sauna years ago and this was the tanks for it. We had to cut them loose and haul them out.
This is another picture of the original area 1. There is a drain in the corner for it all to drain to.
This picture was taken after all the walls were removed that needed to be. We have most of the walls framed in and ready for drywall. This picture was taken standing in area 6 looking across areas 5 and 4 on the after print.
This is the east wall in area 4. It had to be removed and slid back almost a foot, which put it against the exterior block wall.
This is a doorway we were cutting out to allow access to area 5 on the after print.
Here we have the door hung and the walls painted, just need a doorknob installed and its complete.
This is area 4 completed. We built three new walls and painted them. We had to run more drop ceiling because it stopped at the wall separating area 1 from 4 and 5 on the before print. We just tied into what used to be there and ran it out to the south wall.
This is the back of area 5 on the after print. We followed the block wall around the corner with our wall. We had to add more drop ceiling here just like we did in area 6.
This is inside the old liquor store that used to be in French Quarter West years ago. This is where the coolers used to be. We framed up the hole.
Then we hung drywall.
After the seams were finished we painted it and put up a wood border frame to help keep the old west look.
Turned out pretty good.
